What Are Cookies?

A cookie is a small text file stored on your device when you visit a website. Cookies serve a range of purposes — from keeping you signed in, to helping us understand which parts of our site are most useful to learners.

Cookies do not contain personal information on their own, but when combined with other data they may be used to identify you. We handle all such data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Cookie Types We Use

Essential Cookies always active

These cookies are necessary for the website to function. They manage things like your session state and basic security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies, as doing so would prevent the site from working correctly.

Examples: session_id, csrf_token, consent_status

Analytics Cookies

These help us understand how visitors use our site — which pages are visited, where people arrive from, and how long they stay. This helps us improve the learning experience over time. No personally identifiable data is shared.

Examples: _ga, _gid (Google Analytics)

Marketing Cookies

Marketing cookies track interactions with advertising platforms to help us reach people who may find our courses relevant. We use these sparingly and only with your consent.

Examples: _fbp, ads/ga-audiences

Preference Cookies

These remember choices you have made — such as language or region — so you do not need to set them again on your next visit.

Examples: lang_pref, region_setting

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we use. These are governed by the privacy policies of those providers, not ours. Third parties may include:

  • Google Analytics — for usage analytics and performance measurement.
  • Google Maps — embedded on our main page to display our location.
  • Advertising networks — used with your consent for relevant course promotion.

Cookie Duration

Session Cookies

These exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close your session.

Persistent Cookies

These remain on your device for a set period — typically between 30 days and 2 years — depending on their purpose.

Your Cookie Preferences

You can adjust your preferences below at any time. Essential cookies cannot be disabled as they are required for the site to function.
